Ochs’ new single, “Touch” was released on April 27, shortly before he performed at the 2014 Earth Day Fair & Music Festival.

Ochs penned the emotive ballad, which touches on the subject of homelessness in the United States. Millions of people are homeless in the country and often find difficulty incorporating into society. Despite a growing amount of resources for the homeless, dire economic conditions, a severe lack of urban housing projects, and not-so-subtle gentrification have forced people onto the streets — and they constantly face an uphill battle. Every second. Every minute. Every hour. Every day.
